Guardmaster Lifeline 4 Cable Pull Switch (440E-L13042)

The Lifeline 4 is a cable- and push button–operated emergency stop system designed to provide continuous access to E-Stop functionality along or around complex machinery such as conveyors. Its versatile design allows installation over long distances and around obstacles, ensuring quick and reliable shutdown in emergencies.

The device features a positive-mode mechanism that latches contacts open when actuated and requires a deliberate reset using the blue knob, preventing accidental resets and minimizing false trips due to vibration or thermal expansion. A built-in mushroom-head emergency stop button offers additional safety access, even at the cable span’s endpoints. The system also includes a clear cable-status indicator for easy setup and maintenance across spans up to 125 meters.

Lifeline 4 provides four contact sets (2 N.C. + 2 N.O. or 3 N.C. + 1 N.O.) and is sealed to IP66, ensuring durability in harsh industrial environments. Its rugged die-cast alloy and stainless-steel construction, universal mounting capability, and integrated lockout on cable pull or slack make it one of the most robust and user-friendly cable pull switches on the market.
