GD2 Standard Actuator (440G-A27011)

The MT-GD2 is a robust tongue-actuated safety interlock switch designed for use on sliding, hinged, or lift-off guards. Its dual entry slots and rotatable head allow eight possible actuator entry positions, ensuring flexibility in installation. With a compact 117 × 40 × 43 mm housing that meets DIN 50041 fixing standards, the switch includes forced-guided contacts and a tamper-resistant mechanism for enhanced safety. The unit is sealed to IP67 and equipped with a single conduit entry for reliable protection in demanding environments. Operation is achieved via a stainless steel actuator mounted on the guard door, with optional flexible or flat actuators for different door radii and mounting configurations. A latch-release version is also available, allowing manual retention of the actuator until the release mechanism is engaged. Complying with EN 1088, EN 292, EN 60947-5-1, EN 60204-1 and EN 50041 standards, the MT-GD2 combines strength, versatility and compact design for high-risk safety applications.
