Welcome to Klinkmann Oy’s online store. The online services are available at store.klinkmann.com. These terms and conditions apply to the services of Klinkmann Oy’s online store (Klinkmann Store), and the trade relationship between the seller and the customers using the services. Klinkmann Oy (VAT identification number 2578852) is a VAT-taxable company registered in the Finnish Trade Register and the seller of the products displayed on the site. By using Klinkmann webstore services, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions, and grants Klinkmann the right to use customer’s contact information for their own marketing purposes.
Klinkmann reserves the right to change these terms unilaterally without prior notice.
Orders are governed by the contractual terms and conditions valid at the time of the order. Unless otherwise indicated, in all other respects we comply with our general terms and conditions of sale and delivery, the “Technical Traders’ General Conditions of Sale 2010”, and the laws of Finland.
Klinkmann Store services are only available to business and organisational customers, hereinafter referred to as the “Customers”. Agreement between the parties is deemed concluded when Klinkmann receives the customer’s online order. The customer will receive an email order confirmation to the address provided upon placing the order. The customer agrees to comply with these terms and conditions for each order.
When purchasing products from Klinkmann’s Store, the customer may register as an online store customer and create a customer account with a username and password. Previously registered customers can log in with their own usernames and passwords. Klinkmann Store services are available to both logged in and non-logged in users. Upon placing an order, the customer is obliged to submit their contact information, including email address, as well as the company’s VAT identification number.
Login requires a username and password ordered in advance from Klinkmann customer service. The customer submits to Klinkmann the names and contact details of those authorised to place binding orders on its behalf, after which Klinkmann provides them with the necessary usernames and passwords. The accuracy of the data shall be the responsibility of the customer. Any changes therein must be reported to Klinkmann without delay. The customer accepts full responsibility for the usernames and passwords received, and for any damage resulting from their use.
Ordering takes place via the online store available at www.klinkmann.fi. The order, prices, charges, availability and shipping details are confirmed in an email order confirmation sent by Klinkmann to the address provided by the customer. Any changes to the order must be made during office hours within 24 hours of the receipt of the order confirmation. Klinkmann reserves the right to restrict the sale of products in case of unusually large batches, an online pricing error, or other exceptional events.
All prices are given without VAT (VAT 0%). Prices under “Special offers” are valid for limited quantities only. Online orders can only be modified or cancelled by Klinkmann.
- Request for quotation
In case of larger orders, the customer may request for a quotation by adding the items in question to the “request for quotation cart” and sending it to Klinkmann’s Store customer service by pressing the submit button. Customer service tries to process the request within 24 hours on a business day and sends an offer to the email address provided by the customer. If the quotation is found acceptable, the customer can then order the products by sending an order to firstname.lastname@example.org and referring to the quotation number. In such case, the customer enjoys the same benefits as if the order was made via Klinkmann’s online store.
- Payment and delivery terms
Products and related charges are paid either through a payment service when placing the order, or by invoice. Unless otherwise agreed with the customer, all invoices issued are advance payment invoices.
The term of delivery is Ex Works Helsinki Fonseenintie 3. Online store orders are shipped to Finland or the Baltic countries under e-commerce terms. Deliveries to other countries are subject to prior arrangement and separate terms and conditions. Orders are processed by Klinkmann customer service in 24 hours on a business day, and stocked products shipped within 48 hours. If the delivery time for non-stock items is significantly longer, Klinkmann customer service does its best to inform the customer of the matter. Klinkmann cannot be held responsible for late deliveries or damages caused by reasons of force majeure, i.e. abnormal and unforeseeable circumstances beyond its control, or for other damages. Such force majeure events include, for example, industrial actions, staff illness, import and export bans, and interruptions in transportation. Delivery date refers to the date of dispatch from Klinkmann’s warehouse in Helsinki. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery information provided is correct.
Klinkmann Finland’s online store, Klinkmann Store service charges and delivery times in Finland and the Baltic countries:
- Order’s net price value less than EUR 140 (VAT 0%): delivery charge EUR 8 + VAT.
- Order’s net price value over EUR 140 (VAT 0%): FREE SHIPPING.
- Order value over EUR 140 (VAT 0%) and shipping weight:
- Estimated delivery time 2-4 business days for in-stock products. For non-stock items, delivery time shall be confirmed in the order confirmation.
- Delivery times and charges for shipments outside Finland and the Baltic countries are indicated in the order confirmation.
- Return policy
In the case of a product return, the customer must first contact Klinkmann Store customer service. The customer then receives a notification of approval and instructions and ticket number for return for making the return, both sent by email. The product to be returned must be in the same condition as when sold and the packaging intact. The returned product must be accompanied by the delivery note included in the original delivery. In case of the approved return of Klinkmann stocked items, the compensated value is 70% of the sales price of the products. Returns of non-stocked items are not accepted.
The customer is obliged to check the delivery for damaged or missing items immediately, and in any case within three days of receipt. Any complaints regarding faulty or defective products are submitted to Klinkmann eSales customer service.
The customer is responsible for making backup copies of their data and files. Klinkmann is not liable for the destruction, loss or alteration of customer’s data or files, or for any resulting damage or cost.
All copyrights pertaining to the content of Klinkmann online store belong to Klinkmann Oy.
Payment service provider
Paytrail Oyj (2122839-7) acts as an implementer of the payment handling service and as a Payment Service Provider. Paytrail Oyj will be shown as the recipient in the invoice and Paytrail Oyj will forward the payment to the merchant.
